Nice option to buy. Should add Seattle Coffee Gear to the title as the store where you get this deal better than Amazon....

Any benefit to this over the Café Affetto Automatic Espresso Machine that was on sale for $255 that I picked up? I like the design and look of the Café Affetto a lot more, though that doesn't equate to a good cup.

Can't see the 10% off. The price increases to $399 when the seller is changed to Seattle Coffee Gear.

I bought one of these from Costco. The plastic panels were so poorly made they didn't come close to lining up, and the entire machine it seemed like it had been deliberately designed to just look cheap. Think Yugo cheap.

If you don't mind something that looks like it belongs in a commercial warehouse it's a great buy and work's fine, but if you want something that looks like it belongs in a home consider looking for something a bit nicer.

Is this better or Nespresso Vertuo/Original machines?

I've had both. IMO the coffee from a espresso machine, whether automatic or manual, is far superior than one that uses pods. Over time this kind of machine should also be much cheaper to operate too.

Thanks for this insight. Confirms for me how it looks in the images. It just looks cheap as hell, like an espresso version of some Walmart Mr. Coffee device.

You have to click on see deal and not the amazon link. To get the warranty and discount you have to buy directly from Seattle Coffee Gear's website, not Amazon.

I have the 3200 latte go model. Got it for cyber Monday last year.

All of these philips super automatic machines look similar and maybe looks are how some people make a decision without have much knowledge on how these machines actually work or what makes a good espresso.

Read below if you want but I'll summarize my experience.
The machine works great and what makes it worth it is the convenience.
Is it going to be as tasty as a machine where you have to grind it separately fill the portafilter yourself tamp it and then pull a shot yes and no.
You will get a a 7 or 8 out of 10 consistently provided you use freshly roasted medium to dark roast beans.

Non auto machines have a higher learning curve and the grinder typically matters a huge amount and can cost way more than the machine.

From a milk foam texture standpoint you might get better results with the steam wand versus the latte go system.

I had a fully modified gaggia classic and it made amazing milk foam to where I could do latte art but the steps to make a drink each time take too long and the consistency was very hard to maintain.

The philips delivers here and I ended up selling my gaggia as the convenience wins out for me.
