Bought the Q Revo a few months ago when it was on sale for $800 and it is completely worth it in my opinion. We moved into a home with hardwood floors and we run it every two days. It does a fantastic job picking up regular dust and sweeps pretty well into the corners. The lidar and tracking system is very accurate and you can even program it to clean in the same orientation as your hardwood floors per each room. I especially like that it vacuums and mops in hard to reach places like under the bed and couch.
We do spend about 3 mins in the morning picking things off the ground so the Revo can do a thorough job cleaning the rooms. We have yet to change the vacuum bag and adding more water and dumping the dirty water is done about once a week. We can tell that the mopping function is doing its job well because before the used water used to be pretty dirty, but quickly it's turned into just slightly murky water due to its constant use. Once a month or two months it notifies you that the cleaning/drying tray should be cleaned, which is just running it through water.
What I don't like about it is that it doesn't do a good job tracking cords and sometimes gets caught up and stops. We've fixed that problem by taping the cords to the walls.
Can we do a better job vacuuming and mopping manually? Of course... But we don't clean every two days and with both parents working and having a 2.5 yo child, the revo has been very helpful to our family.
Revo is not available in Lowe's or else i would have used two amex cards and got another 100$ down.
Not sure how to price match if they do not have it in store.
I don't fully understand the difference between the Pro Ultra series and the Revo. Can anyone help? Edit: I was responsible and did my own research. Turns out these are all incredibly similar. the only area the Ultra series is noticeably better than the Revo is w/ obstacle avoidance.

Dreame L20 Ultra is also on sale. How does this fair against the S8+? The reviews look a little more mixed for the dreame but that edge cleaning looks awesome.
Do you know any more about the relationship? Is Dreame supposed to be high end Roborock? Are they serviced by the same US company?
Theres a good chance the Q Revo Pro will never make it to the US. Its been released in China recently as the P10. Very similar design with the mopping pads as the Dreame L20.
Supposedly there are patent issues with both the extended mop pad and the hot mop washing. Its all speculation and it seems its anyone's guess on when and if we will ever see it. https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock..._mop_pads/
I can't say if this is the lowest but for their anniversary in sept/oct they had it for a couple days at $1200. considering this goes for $1600 I think a $400 discount is very good. In for one, I hope it delivers and it's not a dud.
Yeah I'd like or closer to $1,000 but not sure they'll do it. Might need to snag this
I would like the white Q revo. Currently only the black is working for me.
Should I wait for the BF sale to start? Or will BF still only be black version?
Same... on both Amazon and Roborock site, only the black Q Revo accepts the coupon. They must have low inventory on the white so they aren't discounting as aggressively.

I do need this though because my other Roborock is a pain dealing with emptying, changing, and washing the mops.
