Bought the Q Revo a few months ago when it was on sale for $800 and it is completely worth it in my opinion. We moved into a home with hardwood floors and we run it every two days. It does a fantastic job picking up regular dust and sweeps pretty well into the corners. The lidar and tracking system is very accurate and you can even program it to clean in the same orientation as your hardwood floors per each room. I especially like that it vacuums and mops in hard to reach places like under the bed and couch.

We do spend about 3 mins in the morning picking things off the ground so the Revo can do a thorough job cleaning the rooms. We have yet to change the vacuum bag and adding more water and dumping the dirty water is done about once a week. We can tell that the mopping function is doing its job well because before the used water used to be pretty dirty, but quickly it's turned into just slightly murky water due to its constant use. Once a month or two months it notifies you that the cleaning/drying tray should be cleaned, which is just running it through water.

What I don't like about it is that it doesn't do a good job tracking cords and sometimes gets caught up and stops. We've fixed that problem by taping the cords to the walls.

Can we do a better job vacuuming and mopping manually? Of course... But we don't clean every two days and with both parents working and having a 2.5 yo child, the revo has been very helpful to our family.

I got a q5+ during last years deals and swapped out the brush for the full rubber one to handle my dogs fur it's been a game changer. I'm a guy and I'm absolutely lazy with cleaning but running it twice (sometimes 3 times depending on my dogs shedding) a week makes my house stay nice and clean. People always compliment how clean my floors look and other than picking up one very thick bathmat that I have in a spare bathroom I haven't had to do any intervention with my vacuum while it cleans. Next year I'll probably pick up one with a mop as those appear to be getting much better and can handle refiling as well but want to see what next year's stuff does.

I'd be interested in hearing some of the details as I'm on the fence between the Q Revo and one of the more expensive models. I've got mostly hardwood and tile floors with the occasional area rug.

Note that roborock doesn't sell genuine service parts in the U.S. I contacted support for a replacement battery for my old S5 and was directed to some third party on AliExpress.

You're doing an admirable job but i feel like this is just a troll, it's like complaining that a Ferrari can't go offroading when it is clearly meant for a specific use-case. I already have a roborock but am buying another one for my upstairs to mitigate the dust.

I have the Q5+ its amazing.

The one's with mops are kind of a gimmick in my mind. Bought a Tineco Floor ONE S5 PRO 2 for that. Or can you try the Dyad.

I've been out of the Roborock market since I bought the S5 years ago.

It's been holding up strong but would love something that could avoid some of the kids toys, empty on its own and mop.
The S5 mops I suppose but never really thought the feature was really useful enough to fill it with water.

Does it return to the base when it needs emptying and then resume cleaning where it left off?

We have a couple of wool rugs that shed like crazy. It clogs up my Dyson Stick Vac. I had to empty/unclog it 4 times last time I vacuumed the rug. Hopefully the rugs will eventually quit shedding but for now it's a problem.

Do you guys buy extra warranty on these. I can see on Amazon 2 yrs, $54 warranty. Does it makes sense to buy this?
