I send my oil to Blackstone Labs to have an analysis done after every oil change. Their experts told me that time is of no worry nowadays with modern oil. The only thing that matters is the mileage.

340k miles on my 03' Toyota Tacoma…my advise: just change the oil no matter what brand (within reason) every 5k or less because it doesn't cost that much to do so…this oil is made by Warren Oil Co btw

Just go by what is stated in your vehicle's owner's manual. My Jeep tells me to use full synthetic and change it once a year or at 10,000 miles. I trust the engineers who build the vehicle more than anyone else.
I have seen a few mechanics say 10,000 mile changes are too long. The manufacturers want oil maintenance to be easy and they don't want the car to last forever. So they say 10,000 but I would say 5k to 6k is about right for synthetic oil that is the sweet spot to keep your engine protected. I have heard a few mechanics say this, the engines over time wear out too fast with a 10k interval. The 10k change is not for engine longevity its for easier maintenance. So do whatever you want but if you going to keep your car long term change the oil more. Sludge and worn piston rings happen early if you don't change the oil enough.

synthetic oil does not go bad ..

regardless what manufacturers says change oil change at 10K that is nonsense !
Best to do it latest at 5000 or preferable 3500-4000
specially with turbo engines

I love your kind.

Again, based on what citation? Specifically, which synthetic oils do not "go bad" - Group 3? Group 4? Group 5? None of them? Do you even know the difference between them?

If a car goes 10,000 miles on an oil change, does it blow up? Why do all of the revered oil manufacturers claim 20,000 mile oil changes using their EP lines when their goal is to sell you more oil?

Cite your nonsense or quit spreading baseless information.

Those engineers want you to replace the car every 100K miles

I thought synthetic oil can last for a year if mileage used is low. That's something I heard but I'm no expert so was wondering now if I should change the oil earlier.

I am a mechanic. Oil can last longer than a year. Most cars can easily do 8-10k on synthetic oil or 2 years. Oil analysis has shown most people change their oil to often. Biggest issue I see is letting it get low as all cars use oil, the amount they use varies.

No matter how long you go between oil changes make sure to check your oil level every month or 1000miles, which ever comes first. Keep it topped off and change it when needed and you will be good.

That depends on the vehicle and usage. A large non-turbo motor being used on the highway can easily do 10k or more. While a little 3 or 4cyl turbo car getting used heavily may need it every 5-6k. Look at oil analysis on bob oil guy forums to see what people are getting mileage wise and how used up the oil is to see.

A mechanic that also dabbles in tribology? Nice! Too few of us these days...

No, but Gamer's Nexus said this is great for a custom loop coolant on i9 and 3090/4090 builds.

Amazon/Supertech/Kirkland/Mag1/and many others are made by Warren. They are a good oil and many oil analysis and testing has shown its a good basic synthetic oil that meets most cars specs (API SP/DexosGen3)

Those cars starts breaking down big time once they reach about 80k mi.
well my S-class are 90's models witht he M119 engine also know as a bullet proof engine cause they rarely breakdown. this is my third 90's model and i get rid of them usually pass the 350K miles. i seen some with 800K. i am a automotive technician so maybe my case will be different than most. but no... the older mercedes have normal lifespan of 25+ years. my 2012 ML350 now that one i do not trust as much as my old benz but still works great. the issue with the germans is too many electrical components... they call them electrical gremlins.
