SN plus was a grade above SN as it added in LSPI (Low Speed Pre Ignition) which helps prevent hot spots in the oil (if I can remember Correctly) which can be a problem in turbocharged cars. All motor cars (non-turbo) didn't need SN plus oil.
But upon looking into the API grades again it seems there is a newer higher grade called API SP. It looks like it's a step above SN plus and two steps above SN.
According to the pictures on Amazon I see API SN plus and API SP. It might be that it's now rated for the higher grade and they haven't updated the page but it does the matter as it looks like Mobile 1 has increased their rating for API SP as well.
Bottom line is if you want a good oil for your vehicle make sure it is at least full synthetic, API SN, SN plus if it's a turbo, or just go with SP. Anything less won't be best for newer cars.
API SM is used for 2010 and older cars... just a heads up.
Hope that helps.

regardless what manufacturers says change oil change at 10K that is nonsense !
Best to do it latest at 5000 or preferable 3500-4000
specially with turbo engines
I prefer 0w20 to 5w30 for vehicle
That and if you do not need it now the Kirkland oil, same oil as this, goes on sale a couple times a year at Costco for a little less.
