Was $13 in July - take that for what it's worth. Didn't last long, but didn't seem like a price mistake.

It shows the height being 13" and the depth 6.5". I assume that is incorrect and its the opposite.

You can buy a pluck foam insert for almost the same price. I'm not aware of any plastic dividers. I have a bunch of these I bought during a sale and honestly they haven't proven very useful. Stuff sloshes around in them without dividers. I feel like with the price of the foam, you could get a nicer case if you need to store sensitive equipment . The side snaps aren't great either. I'd love to hear a good use for them since I have several sitting around

I use one of these to store my wiring kit. Heat gun, a wire spool of 18awg, shrink wrap, soldering iron, connector kit, and my crimper/wire stripper.

I'm thinking of using another to store some off-road recovery gear, like a soft shackle, a tow strap, and a snatch block. The idea I have with that is to throw it up on my roof rack with a strap, or perhaps with some brackets I fabricate that interface with the brackets on this box.

I think so, there's a comment in the product QA about interior size, and manufacturer replies it is 4" high. Given that I'd say exterior is 6.5" high, not 13".

I have three that I keep in my enclosed trailer. One has my tie-down straps in it. One has my ball hitch insert and other items for the hitch and locks it in. One has a few basic tools and some emerg flashers that are mag mount and the batteries for them not stored in the flashers themselves.

Another poster with more questions who has some of these -- do you keep them latched into a stack? And assuming you do, does the whole stack mount anywhere or are you just using a strap to fix it on the side or idk you tell me 😀

When the trailer is empty, I latch them into a stack and have a strap holding them in the front strapped to my D Rail. When the trailer is loaded, it can go either way based on what i have in the trailer and what I need to get access to.

FYI I have had these in this service for about 4 years and they are holding up just fine.

I do have a couple more I keep in my garage and they are just for mis tool storage and sit individually on a shelf.

I like the idea of the ratchet straps, seems ideal for that kind of thing
