its the best "Outdoor TV" because it gets really bright which is great for viewing in direct sunlight, not because it has protections from the elements

I have OLED that I use for my PC, LG OLED 42" C2. I just bought the U7K 75" and it has an amazing picture. Still shocked. It compares very well against my 4th OLED.

Bought this off Amazon yesterday before this deal was posted, reason being my TV literally died last night RIP but at least the timing was right. Review for this particular model https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/u8-u8k

Like every TV with eArc (for those using a surround sound receiver with eArc) this has the issue of audio just stops working randomly but can be fixed by literally turning off and on again.

I have the 85" u8k....wanted an oled, but gave it a try.

this sucker is BRIGHT and super clear. Very impressed. Just saw that there's an 100" for 3k that makes me tingle.

Got the 65" (U7) from Costco last week as an upgrade over a LG 4K model without 120hrz or 2.1 HDMI. Really liking the display quality so far!

Which Costco? I've never seen the U8 series, this being the U8K. at Costco. I see the U7K or U75K and lower U6K models at Costco. I have a U8G from 2021 that has been mostly very good.
