A CAS Latency of 46 is extremely high. Usually, minor differences in CAS Latency aren't very noticeable, but in this case, the high CAS makes a significant difference. Considering you can get RAM with a CAS of 28 at 5600 MHz for just a bit more money, this option doesn't really offer good value. It's priced appropriately for what it is: budget RAM that relies on consumers being attracted to the 5600 MHz speed without realizing the drawbacks of such a high CAS Latency.

Any recommended alternatives? I've been waiting for this to ship but keeps getting delayed. I'd rather just get something else and have it ship right away and cancel these. Going on an Intel 12700K. I was looking at these [amazon.com] with CL36 and is compatible with a Z690 board I want to put them in. Or would this [amazon.com] be a bit a better at CL32 for $2 more?
