i checked for availability in my neighborhood (suburb of Chicago) and for available plans it shows "Speeds up to 768Kbps for $55.00/mo"....wow, now that's some serious speed lol I currently get Xfinity 2Gbps in my neighborhood and AT&T maxes out at 768Kbps....Get you s***t together AT&T

Check your Citi card merchant offers they have an att fiber offer. Spend 55$ or more get 50$ statement credit and you can prepay the bill in advance .

Expires 12/31

I have this on 5 different cards in my family.

Just had the Att install completed today. And I have prepaid the bills using my Citi cards.

I signed up during July this year and secured 2gb plan for 110 for the price to jump to 150 is insanity. I'm unsure of they let you take the plan with you if you move addresses

i called csr instead and they gave me $400 Visa rewards (have to got thru same redemption process as the online rewards) plus a $400 harmon bluetooth speaker

Got my fiber activated December 1. Already claimed and got the $100 gift card. The $150 Amazon card is on it's way. The $50 card claim have not been emailed.

So update. After disconnecting my service same day after receiving the new equipment, I had about 4-5 hours of downtime sometime after midnight. It seems their system still recognized I had service (with old account). The system had to wait until the next day in order to activate the new account (the router wouldn't activate as a result). But once I woke up, system was already up and running so essentially I didn't miss out on having no internet those 4-5 hours.

Today I received an email for part of the $150 reward card which I already claimed and on it's way 3-4 weeks.

All in all, it was a breeze switching from my old account to a new account, but keep in mind, it'll be easier to disconnect service a full day before activating the new service.

well regardless of who's supposed to do what, i was told prior to installation the fiber would be dug underground. it's been over 5 months now.
