Interesting! IMO they're hands down my favorite knife brand for the money, best value. That clutch lock feels as good or better than Benchmade for 1/3 the price, their liner locks have the detents absolutely dialed in. Only thing I've had a single complaint on was some button stick on a button lock.

Again it looks like they have models not on sale elsewhere. Probably not an enthusiast model but the Walnut Tai Chi safety knife is $30, 59% off with N690, will probably appeal to some as a gift.

Edit: Actually it's on sale at Mojave.

They have Drop Bears for less than $80. Bought one last year or would be all over that.

The listing doesn't seem to have the word reverie for anyone who may have trouble searching, but just keywords Kansept and 154CM will find it, confirmed by cross referencing model number on the Kansept site.

Kizer is a respected Chinese brand in case you were wondering. I have a bunch of Kizer folders and rate them above Kershaw, Buck, or Civivi for value.

I like the Original XL, Towser K, or Drop Bear from these Amazon sale options. Wish they had more clutch lock models as the Drop Bear is too small for my hand and the Escort is too ugly.

Bought the $35 Kansept Reverie in orange from Amazon. As mentioned earlier, search for Kansept 154cm. Initially went on Kansept site and could not find it.

Got orange so I won't lose it like I did with the other knife in black.

I agree and have similar experience, that's why I was questioning the experience of the other person and the circumstances.

It's a fantastic deal for $35. I'm wanting the lime green one. Usually not a color I would go for, but it really works with Kansept, since they're kinda aggressive with their styles.

I think whoever manages that listing is color blind though, the lime green picture says "brown" and purple one says "blue" - wonder if it's the picture of the word that you'll get..

Edit: Ok lime green matches model#, good thing each color has discrete # that can be looked up on their site..

Having owned several BM axis lock knives, I wholeheartedly agree. I recently got an Escort, and if it had a butterfly on it, it would cost 3X as much.
