Even better if you qualify for the 25% discount (teachers, nurses, etc). Cost on the lowest tier is $22.50 before taxes and fees (a little over $27 after for us) on 5 lines and you can mix and match (we have two on the mid tier for more hotspot data and 3 on the starter plan).

I think you get a monthly credit so if you pay off early and close the line you will lose the credit. If you upgrade an existing line (or open a new one and keep it open) and then pay off the phone you are also supposed to lose the credit but it sounds like a lot of people get to keep the credit anyway as long as the credits have started by the time the device is paid off.

I'm planning to upgrade to a 5 line unlimited plan, but have been holding for deals. Currently on a 2 line 3gb shared plan. If I were to upgrade my plan to the 5 lines and get 2x iphone 14's, would I be getting $400 credit + $200 costco card? Also, I may be blind, but I can't find this deal on OP's link...

Does this deal require an unlimited plan? I'm on 9GB shared plan (2 lines) and not really looking to change that if I don't have to.

Edit: looks like yes, unlimited plan is required.

No dice. This is billing credits jail. It is $5 monthly net after the recurring billing credits. This is how they tie you down to their cell plans for 36 months or you forfeit the remaining billing credits when you cancel early.

So it is $5 net for the phone installments plus the monthly cellphone fees depending on how many lines you have. Well worth it if you have 5 lines and everyone need new phones for 36 months and have good ATT service in your area.
