MAYBE these new ones with 4k and solar panels will fare better, but I've been seeing some interesting new competition including some cameras with dual lenses (near and far I guess). I'm also considering biting the bullet and running Romex or power-over-ethernet in my attic to avoid recharging, solar or otherwise.
