I have not seen Gap this low before, makes me wonder if there is something different on them. Their soft wear with stretch are my favorite jeans. They are incredibly comfortable. I'm a bigger guy and ok going down to a slim cut because there is so much stretch everywhere.

I have bought many and last time I bought quite a few on a deal listed here for their own website deals. Their jeans tend to be rigid, not so soft, fabric not thin either, and overall fit very well. The stretch is usually bare minimum but adequate for comfort without distorting the shape. I never buy slim/skinny stuff, but I believe I bought the straight cut ones and they were good enough both in fit and quality.

I like Gap's slim taper.

They're closer in fit to Levi 511s than Gap slim fit (which are looser.)

But most Levi's I try to buy nowadays are really thin, low quality. Gap is a step up.

Gap and BR jeans are very comfort. BR travel are my favorite. Seems better than Levi as per my opinion.

Unfortunately the quality of Gap jeans is very poor. Almost every pair I've owned has ripped either in the crotch or around the thigh and this is with very light use. I would rather pay a little more money and get a pair that will last longer than 6-12 months. Can't expect much from $20-$30 jeans anymore.
