It's an LED light source. No need to change a lamp.

This is a ridiculously great price for this projector. I bought it from Amazon back when it was on sale for $1000 and was happy with the price…not anymore.

Thanks for posting OP!

Yeah. It's an LED. Projector Central's review says it's rated at 25,000 hours. XGIMI's website says 30,000. But whatever's the case, you can't replace LED/Laser innards. And you shouldn't have to unless it's a defective lemon. Traditional bulbs were rated to last 1/10 that time.

Yes, I noticed that as well. No option for an extended warranty gave me pause, but like you said, for $650, I guess we shouldn't complain too much. Veera777, your image looks good! Mine is still in the box, but might get around to playing with it today.

I'd like to report back on my experience with the projection screen.
Projected on a 120" ALR screen used by UST.
It's a 0.6 gain screen, which reduces sharpness and drastically lowers the brightness.

Projecting directly on a white wall is 1. convenient and 2. brighter.
I'm also hoping someone can recommend a screen that will work for him.
