It's just the flavor notes. It's black coffee with no added sugar which has minimal calories.

Just an opinion to share on this roast...it's not my favorite for espresso, and if you, like me, enjoy Starbucks French Roast which is a dark roast, this one will probably disappoint. Just a heads up.

Why does Verona tend to come more in ground than beans? It's my favorite blend of theirs. Ground is more convenient but beans tastes better.

Verona is more for brewing than espresso.
