but it will charge when i plug in a usbc and the symbol next to is is only the dp logo.
hard to believe this wont do the same thing, but i dont have any proof
this is a great price for a 12th gen but ive grown to accustomed to touch screens in my laptops

It looks like it has 2X4gb. Trying to figure out if ram slots are accessible. Everything else seems to look better unless I'm missing something.
When you register, make sure you see the confirmation "Thank you for signing up." in the Dell page. Dell page has a check of robot and sometimes it requires a wait time of 30 seconds and the 2nd time to register in the page.
Update: I was curious and I signed up for email from yahoo email with Dell this morning. It took 3 to 4 hours for email to show up. The coupon now expires 02/21/2024

Max ram you can upgrade to? What about SSD?
How is the graphics card compared to the intel xe?
Battery when using youtube or web browsing? I notice it has a small battery.
This laptop is for web browsing, youtube, excel and nothing more than that right?

Even for gaming, if you add 8GB of 3200Mhz RAM, the Intel UHD will be converted to Iris Xe which is ok for most light games.
WIFI6, and the available space for an additional 2.5'' HDD is a plus. Plan on adding a 2TB Samsung 2TB HDD for data storage.
Plus a USB-C port is just icing on the cake.
