Got this about a month ago. The split top has a little bit of give to it if you put any weight on it, which is a little annoying but probably par for the course for the split top style. Also my home office started smelling like a smoker lived there (my wife and I don't smoke), and I realized it was coming from this desk. It's dissipated a bit, or my olfactory has gotten used to it. Other than that, it's fine for the price.

Got this about a month ago. The split top has a little bit of give to it if you put any weight on it, which is a little annoying but probably par for the course for the split top style. Would the weight of a couple of 24" monitors be a problem on one edge of the desk?

I've got two as well, no issue with monitors. Moreso if I put my elbows on the desk or if I brace myself slightly when in standing mode.

You could theoretically replace the surface with MDF, butcher block or some other desk surface if you wanted. Then it would be as large as you wanted and not split.

Could be formaldehyde. Dangerous but common in furniture.

Any desk deal needs to have the depth included in the title. Many are 24" deep, but not all. It matters.

24" depth is not sufficient for a computer desk, in my opinion. YMMV.

Regardless, the information is important and needed. Sellers leave it out of their titles and that is sketchy to me. At least they disclose it somewhere. Not done at all here. I doubt it was a deliberate decision, just a copy/paste. Maybe staff can read, share, and appreciate this critique.

Flexispot on is single piece and also 99$ . For a split one theres a few on sale for 71-85 so not sure why this one specifically is front page for a split top. Ive been hunting for one , people say these split tops are sometimes misaligned from factory (sideways or vertically causing a bump on the flat surface)

This one is a split top for 69.99 and plenty for 85

I've never found a desk that was deep enough. I eventually just built my own desk top. It's 8 feet by 4 feet.
