For those having trouble seeing the deal...

If you are an active subscriber / canceled within the past 30 days, then you'll need to logout and create a new account.

Yup! After you pay the 99 cents, you'll be taken to an add-on page and that's where you add the Disney+ subscription for $2.

how bad is the experience with ads? lilke regular network TV?
It varies with programing, but in general, no, not nearly as bad as regular Network TV.
People who say it is just as bad, or worse, have obviously not watched Network in a while and forget how many breaks, and number of commercials stuffed in those breaks, are in regular TV.
I am currently going thru Bob's Burgers, and there is an ad at the beginning, and then maybe two or three more during the show.
Same for a lot of the horror movies I watched over Halloween, one or two at open, maybe two more during full run.
But when I tried watching Killing Eve a year or two ago, there was a ridiculous number of ads- still not as bad as regular TV, but enough that I quit watching.

That said, I really wish they would offer a deal on non ad version.

Your initial post was 49 minutes ago, OPs was 56. Looks like you were the repost so they merged your thread into this one.

This does not work for me no matter what I do. Furthermore I couldn't sign up my dad. It always goes to 7.99 a month after I get the 99 cent advertised rate page.

I haven't had Hulu in a long time and he's never had it.

One of my favorite deals every year.

Discover cards waive small statement balances up to $2. Charge only Hulu to the card, nothing else, and you'll have free Hulu for a year.

This! I'm old enough to remember regular cable when a 30 min show had 9 mins of ads but on hulu the same 30 min show has 3 mins of adds in total.

I've lost it in the flood of comments, but there is an early comment that mentioned D+ without ads will not be available for new Hulu accounts. Only previously existing accounts that got this deal last year and had the D+ without ads add-on can continue getting D+ without ads (assuming they didn't cancel it).
Don't believe you can get the BF deal without ads, but if you were a previous customer and try to cancel, it will offer hulu for 2.99 for 6 months, and let you keep the ad free D+. Do not believe you can get the BF deal of .99 hulu and ad free D+

So you just cancelled your current plan, then signed up for this one?

And you kept Disney with no ads?
