For those having trouble seeing the deal...

If you are an active subscriber / canceled within the past 30 days, then you'll need to logout and create a new account.

Yup! After you pay the 99 cents, you'll be taken to an add-on page and that's where you add the Disney+ subscription for $2.

Been asked 2X times earlier in thread, but no answers, so I'll ask again:
If you add Disney+ at $2 for total $2.99 w Hulu, can you later cancel *only* the Disney+ add-on and retain the $.99 Hulu?

There's only one show on Disney I want to see, so want to add-on but cancel after one month, *if* I can keep the $.99 Hulu.
After a lengthy wait for chat on Hulu site, I can answer my own question.
So long as the Disney+ is selected as an add-on, and not a bundle, you can cancel the Disney+ add-on later without any impact to the $.99 promo rate on Hulu itself.

Do you have to wait till the 12th month to cancel? If you cancel early to avoid renewal does your subscription end immediately?
Yes. Otherwise your subscription(s) will end at the end of your current billing cycle.

No. Subscription is active for the remainder of your current billing cycle. You just won't be charged again.

What the hell. Waited all month for this deal to finally show, and I can't access it no matter what I try. Logged out, used several different emails (old Hulu accounts), cancelled my current Hulu account, no account will let me remove my devices, UGH!

I keep getting a "Forbidden 403" error when trying to claim the deal through the GMA link.

Help!
Me, too. Then I cleared my history, including cookies, & it worked. Also used incognito tab & carrier network (not wifi) on my cell phone.

Thanks to whichever poster recommended that many pages back. I was getting very frustrated...lol

Can you explain? You're paying $3.09 to not have ads on disney+?
I'll be paying 2.99+tax for Hulu with ads and $2.99+tax for Disney+ without ads.

If you got the deal last year for $1.99 Hulu with ads and the add-on Disney+ without ads for $2.99 and went to cancel they offer 6 months for a little under $7 after tax for the services. (The $1.09 more I mentioned)

Not having ads on Disney is worth a little extra

They actually make the most money from the Ad supported tiers than the paid tiers.

They literally get paid each time you watch a program. For those who don't know, The ads are
a lot. Man I tried watching one show on Hulu and didn't even bother finishing the program.
It's worse than TV.

There is an ad before the show will play.
There is an ad after the show intro.
There are 90 second ads repeatedly during the show.
In a 45min show, expect 10-15mins of ads.

YOU CAN'[T SKIP THEM.
If you start a program and try to skip to a portion of the program. BAM ad break.
I can't watch this even if they were paying me, honestly the $1 offer is literally them doing that.

The only upside is the D+ offer, as I found out if set up profiles for the kids in D+ to watch programs, the kids don't get bombarded with ads. So they love it and their ads if any are actually fun for them.
Its really not that bad except for election season and pharmaceutical ads are annoying, I think Paramount+ is crappier aince its louder and more repeats than hulu.

But then again I dont binge watch as much anymore, its usually just a show on in the background and I am doing things. Or the ads will give me a break and remind me I got crap to do, instead of loosing my weekend like on netflix.

how bad is the experience with ads? lilke regular network TV?
Yes, most ads for me are 1:15 or :45, & commercials on cable are 2 minutes+ sometimes, so not too egregious if you're used to ads. There's about 4 or 5 ads during an episode of Fargo, about a 45 minute show, for example. Maybe it's different for everyone, IDK, but this is my experience.

Currently, on my free trial where I added Disney plus for $2/month, it does give me the option to go in & uncheck the Disney plus add on (I'm still in trial mode), BUT i heard the 2 apps are merging next month, so i don't know if this will be possible then. I think I'll pass on adding it, just in case, & sub for full price when doctor who releases, because there's not much on Disney plus i care about, personally.

My plan is renewing from last time. Now to decide if I want pay $7.99/month for Hulu with adds to keep the ad free Disney Plus add on for $2.99/month….
Same for us. Do you know if the price will be increasing in December? I had read somewhere that Disney Plus subscriber's (no ads) price was set to increase on December 10, or did that happen already?

Just signed up, but can I get ESPN2 or not? I see many mentions of +, but not 2.
I just saw that the Purdue game is on ESPN2 today, like to watch it if possible.
