My daughter is disabled and cannot hold a controller much less use the left and right triggers. This controller sits on her tray table and allows her to play animal crossing on her switch. I noticed this price last night and picked her up another spare. May not be a great configuration for everyone but for those that need it it's a great product.
MacOS emulators are popular.
This R1/R2 situation seems like a dealbreaker. Way too many games that would use triggers to make this controller really annoying for my use cases

I like how they have to specify that it's compatible with the Apple stuff for the Apple fans twice in the "about this item".

Do you want a controller that attaches to your phone, or a seperate controller? Apples and oranges a bit.

This is intriguing, but that shape seems weird to get used to, no?

The Lite SE is a good match for emulated and retro-style arcade and fighting games. It's designed to remain on the desk and controlled with finger clicks like a mini arcade.

The buttons require less force to press down than most controllers, which gives less fatigue after long game sessions (without using your thumb at all!).

An unofficial play style is to hold it upside-down to get a Genesis/Saturn layout, where the 2 analog sticks (under index fingers) are remapped to L/R buttons.

It was designed that way for mobility impaired. 8bitdo has many other controllers that have the traditional triggers.

Ill admit Ive thought about picking up this controller more than a few times, and this is finally the price I've been waiting for, but to be honest I can't see why I would reach for this over an 8BitDo SN30 Pro...

OpenEmu has got to be the best emulator of all time. I wish it had Switch support so I can dump all my Switch games and not have to figure out where my son put my switch Frown

Some people just want to see the world cringe at their whining.

OpenEmu rules. So easy to use and such a pretty interface.
