Can I add another m2 SSD?
There is space for 2.5 inch hdd inside, but there is no wire and bracket for the hdd. Need to buy them with hdd together.
It saves work if there is another ssd slot.

Really? Dell took away the caddy and cable for the SATA 2.5" SSD or HD?

By chance, did you get your 3535 used?

The 3520 and earlier Inspiron models had the caddy and cable. It appears now that the 3535 had those removed. Can anyone else verify?

Apparently, the Inspiron models only have one M.2 socket, so the SSD would probably need to be replaced to upgrade.

Yes. I just added another 8G memory and it works well.
And the user manual even says there is no SATA port.

From the video, it appears the RAM is soldered. Where were you able to add the extra 8GB?

It appears Dell totally took away support for a SATA 2.5" drive. I see no SATA/HD connector on the motherboard. It's as if that 2.5" space is solely for the 4-cell 54Wh battery upgrade now.

This laptop is very noisy. Is there a way to reduce the fan noise?

Guys, I was not able to connect my monitor via USB C connector.I called support, to my surprise I was told that this one does not support video/audio via USB-C.That's bad,I was given this reference.
https://www.dell.com/support/manu...lang=en-us
I knew that this does not support USBC charging but this is new.
Thinking if I have to return jus becasue of this.
Anyone able to connect to a 2nd monitor using usb-c?

Usb-c in this machine is data only.

I didn't notice the RAM part is different than the model in video. But the hdd part is very similar. I will attach some pictures later.

Click "my dell", then you can find four options, one is "power". After Click the power, you will see "thermal management", then choose "cool"

Interesting. Thought "Quiet" was the mode to reduce fan noise.
