Is this good at tilling centipede grass in normal soil found in Florida?

Bought mine from Amazon for about $100 maybe 4 or 5 years ago. I've used mine to till the soil, then rake it, to put sod down in my yard. Have the same clay soil. The trick I've found is that it works better pulling it towards you instead of pushing it forward. So start at the far end of your field, and pull it back towards you. It won't go down maybe more than 4-5" - don't expect it to dig feet for you or anything. But it will take multiple passes.

I bought a 100' 12-gauge cord at the same time, and that has been a necessity. There are times I break the rules and plug an extra 50' into it. The only complaint with the machine is that it is a PITA to clean out - just unplug it, and a screwdriver and pliers help pull the contents out. Has saved me a lot of time, and I've loaned it out - it is very easy to transport.

Have been using one of these for about 8 seasons, though mine is a 9 Amp from 2014. This last year the handles finally fell apart and I'm looking to replace it with something a bit bigger. BUT, if you have a small plot or some large raised beds this is a great little machine and I fully recommend.
It's a bit small, the power cord is a bit of a pain vs. gas, and it's a little light for breaking into topsoil, but this little bugger just keeps chugging! I eventually just ended up removing the little wheels while tilling, and only put them on to cart around the yard. Our garden seems to keep growing, and this year I did a 25'x30' area of well established grass. It took about an hour, but it really does a good job. I paid 160$ on amazon, no regrets.

Does it work on clay soil for putting in grass seeds? I bought some de thatcher tool before and ended up never using it. Want to make sure if this come handy to fix patches of lawn for putting in new grass seeds.

Hmmm. How can I weld 2 of these together to make a double wide? I'm thinking tine shaft to tine shaft and then a plate across the top joining both.
