Almost pulled the trigger on the 2001 R8 for $3600 after coupon. I'll stick to Reverb and wait for the market to crash out a little more.

I resisted the urge to buy something major, but I snagged a Strymon pedal that wanted but previous to this deal couldn't justify the price.

Really want the Gibson Explorer, it's my grail guitar. Anyone seen a better price than this for a natural 70's model ($2k after coupon)?

I have several budget guitars but I will own the OG Gibson Explorer someday.

Not that I could find. Lowest in the same finish is a demo model [reverb.com] from GearNuts for $1911 but it's such a small price difference (maybe more w/ tax) you might as well get it new here.

EDIT: Same guitar on Sweetwater [sweetwater.com] (GearNuts is Sweetwater's Reverb/Amazon storefront)

Agreed. Found them on Feeverb, but had a premonition; called directly and got a much much better deal on an Olympic White Hendrix.
These guys nailed the setup. Super great responsive customer service before and after the sale.
