I tried it for like a month a while ago. At first I liked it, but I couldn't remember what the books were about or what books they were after like a day. I think when you read or listen to a whole book you get to digest it and absorb the ideas, not so much with this. It's a nice idea, but if you like reading and learning, it kinda does nothing for you. You don't get to enjoy the writing style, or examples, interesting facts and anecdotes supporting the ideas…

Jeez...went through the cashback link after signing up for a trial and it tried to give me a $500/year offer after 75% off...had to do it on my phone without the cashback, but still worth it for me since I've been wanting to try it.

Great price, did it last year. Too bad I forgot to cancel. They don't reminder you it's in auto renewal and they charged me$99. I reached out to ask for a refund but yet to hear back.

Unfortunately, it's too late in your case. But, for others that might be worried about the same thing (forgetting to cancel), I'd recommend creating a virtual credit card on Privacy.com. You can set the limit to $1 (maybe less). It has always worked for me when I sign up for "free" trials or other sites that are likely to use shady tactics to make it difficult to cancel. I think various banks offer the option to create single-use or limited-use virtual cards but am not sure which ones.
On most sites, the first thing I do after I sign up is cancel immediately. Usually (and I don't know if it applies here), you'll still get the service you signed up for, and you shouldn't fall into the trap of automatic subscription renewal.
