If they don't provide the CADR it's because they don't want you to know how inefficient it is.
This one, for example, claims it cleans a 1000sf in an hour. Compare that to a Winix C909 from Costco that is $40 cheaper and cleans twice the area in the same time, and it has a CADR rating to back it up.
I'd recommend avoiding this ones from AHAM's certified CADR list online. They show every model and their test results.
Best Buy has had the same deal for a few days now but I can't tell if this is any good. I'v been comparing air purifiers using their CADR, but none of the Shark ones provide it. Does anyone know if this is any good?
Same price on their website plus you get 10% off if you sign up for emails. Certain cash back sites have 4% back also. Got it for $179.99 before tax plus expecting 4% cash back. 😁

We have the larger HE400 series Shark units and when we first got them I thought they were bad. We leave on auto and air % always stayed in the high 90s and fan speeds low, Then my wife cooked something in the kitchen one evening, no smoke at all, and the air purifiers kicked into higher speed even when located in another part of the house. Same with grilling outside or even some scented candles and it senses things in the air and goes into higher speeds and air quality meter drops. With 4 dogs in the house they have helped keep dust/dander down too as they are placed in rooms dogs use the most.

If you're talking about the amount of heat they put out, the nice thing about resistive 1500w electric heaters is that that all put out the exact same account of heat. It comes down to safety features, fan design/noise, looks etc as to which you prefer
Do yourself a favor, get a germguardian or any other reputable brand that doesnt charge nearly $100 for filter replacements. My 10 year old germguardian still going strong…$20-30$ replacements for the HEPA and odor /large particle filter.
Staring at you, winix filters.

I have a different model shark and after we replaced the filter with a 3rd party one the "auto" mode has not worked right. Not sure of this happens on all models but just a heads up
