How does this compare to the Recon 200 gen 2? Recently got the 200 from target for $35.
The Recon 200 Gem 2 are better with the amplified audio and always on bass boost, that is powered by the 12 hr rechargeable battery. The Recon 200 Gen 2 also has better ear pads, too. While both are 40 mm speakers, the Recon headset is better. I have the Recon 70's and $20, it's a good deal for the build and sound quality. They're definitely an entry level headset.

I haven't had any sound issues with my TB-70's. It's just they feel very enter level being all plastic, but the sound quality is good. I'd get these for a kid that is rough on their gaming gear. At least they're not expensive if they break. For the casual gamer, these are fine. The camo look is cool.
I am seeing a lot of reviews complaining about quality and sound going out on 1 side. This may be a pass unless you are looking for a throw away set.
Can confirm, one side just went out on mine... But I got them in early 2020. I believe I also got them for about $20 so I'd say I got decent use from them. If you're on a budget, these are worth it imo.
