My store has stated it is the same price in store and they do not sell without the AppleCare+

I was also able to get the AirPods Pro 2 for $150 in store without Apple Care. The $150 version was not the USB-C though. It was at the Billings Costco. It doesn't show up online or on the app but when I went to the Apple section it was there.

It depends on the store. The Plano location had the lightning AirPods Pro 2 on clearance for $150 as well when I went Thanksgiving shopping, but it was a few days before Black Friday. I doubt they would have any left at this point

This is why they might be forced to bundle it so they can send you to get it fixed by Apple within two years. If Apple swaps out the parts, the serial numbers change, and they cannot do the return. If it's >2 years out, then the store manager can guilt the shit out of you to just buy new ones unless you have a damn good excuse. Honestly, it's brilliant of Costco to stop people from abusing their headphones policies.
