GameStop is still holding onto my charge. I talked with their customer service and they refuse to remove the charge. Apparently they can advertise something to be free, and then charge your card any amount they want afterward. They need some CFPB complaints. Wish the CFPB was still at its former glory too.

Maybe the freebie was actually only for current members near their expiration date & that's why all new Pro memberships were cancelled. (Doesn't explain the "Welcome Reward" though!)

They don't seem to show us to redeem the monthly$5 credit on gift cards anymore, making the membership useless to me

GameStop just changed their policy as of December 1st to not allow members to use their monthly $5 towards digital currency. Aside from occasionally using it to buy Pokémon cards, those were my primary reason for subscribing. Not going to subscribe any longer since the change.
