Got a year subscription and cancelled right away. Still have it for the year but don't need to remember to cancel.

this is only for platinum or diamond members, which I believe means you have been a customer for at least 8 years

I was a platinum member, but moved to a new house and started flex as a new customer, but didn't get peacock free because I am not in the premium tiers of service length

Peacock Premium is great imo. Movies usually let you watch a 5 minute block of ads before viewing uninterrupted

I find the ad breaks very short compared to cable viewing also. Let's say a bravo show runs an hour on cable - that's 40 minutes of show plus 20 minutes of commercials, Peacock only shows about 4 minutes of ads

All these streaming services that are ad supported. What's the point? People might as well go back to cable. Only a matter of time before someone consolidates them all and then it is basically cable again.
Because let's say I get this deal for 20 bucks a year... And the Hulu deal for 99 cents a month, plus the Disney offer for 2 bucks a month and that's all I need with an over the air antenna, plus all the free Roku channels. I've paid 56 dollars for 3 streaming services for the year, have all the network channels thru the antenna and all the hundreds of channels offered for free thru Roku. I was paying 130 a month for satellite TV.... And you know what I still had to watch thru DirecTV paying that 130 a month... Commercials.

LOL at them calling it Premium to trick people into thinking they're getting an ad-free or 4K or live TV version.

Also, LOL at all the streaming companies that give away their lowest tier for free with Tmobile or Walmart or whatever but walk away from free money by not letting those people pay the difference to upgrade to the better version.

Yes, it's $79.99 for the year.
If you have the Amex offer of spend 59.99 get $20 back, makes it a hell of a deal

Updated: it's $20 back from Amex, not $40

So you paid $20 for the full year and Amex says you're getting $6 back?

You can add Premium Plus for $6/mo even with the annual subscription, Hulu/Paramount should do the same but they don't

Does it stack? Meaning: does it add to an already existent subscription?

It's actually just $20 extra. Since the promo with no ads is $20, ads free comes out to $40 for the year with Amex offer

Update: never mind, thought the Amex offer was $40 back instead

I'm not able to add ad free annual after subscribing. I just see it as a $6 a month add on.

Arg.. I will probably go the $20/yr, for the ocasional game or the one or two shows per year that actualy intrest me. Definitly on the chopping block with out this deal. 99 cents a month is what its worth.

When I get to the promo page for 1 year it says 19.99. If I then click the "have a promo code?" button and type "yearlong" again it then says "due today 0.00". But In afraid go click submit and get locked out of the real promo if it ends up being some weird thing.
