this is only for platinum or diamond members, which I believe means you have been a customer for at least 8 years

I was a platinum member, but moved to a new house and started flex as a new customer, but didn't get peacock free because I am not in the premium tiers of service length

Peacock Premium is great imo. Movies usually let you watch a 5 minute block of ads before viewing uninterrupted

I find the ad breaks very short compared to cable viewing also. Let's say a bravo show runs an hour on cable - that's 40 minutes of show plus 20 minutes of commercials, Peacock only shows about 4 minutes of ads

My 99 cents a month plan from last year's black friday deal expires on the 25th. It's not letting me renew with the new deal so I'm assuming that you have to wait for the plan to expire before renewing.

I had the .99 promo from last year. I cancelled the service a few weeks ago.
I tried to enroll in this with/without promo but it wont allow me.
I suppose it's time to sign up with a different email

I used my brother's account for a day before I uninstalled it. The ads are too much for a proprietary streaming service. A 40 min episode had 2 min ads every 4 mins and it was the same 2 to 3 ads.

Edit: so it appears that you get peacock "premium" for a year for $20, they charge you $6 a month for "premium plus", but then you get a $5 statement credit. $26 to sign up, which matches the deal. So that's $32 for premium plus for the year, way better than the Amex deal.

Yeah, that's what I am thinking as I missed signing up for plus, will wait and sign up tomorrow with world elite master card, don't know if I can combine Sam's club bonus offer as I will be using Sam's club world elite master card.

Peacock is great for the kids shows it has. It has so few commercials compared to Hulu or regular TV. Occasionally being able to watch a new movie like Super Mario Bros or Minions Rise of Gru also justifies $20/year.
