this is only for platinum or diamond members, which I believe means you have been a customer for at least 8 years

I was a platinum member, but moved to a new house and started flex as a new customer, but didn't get peacock free because I am not in the premium tiers of service length

Peacock Premium is great imo. Movies usually let you watch a 5 minute block of ads before viewing uninterrupted

I find the ad breaks very short compared to cable viewing also. Let's say a bravo show runs an hour on cable - that's 40 minutes of show plus 20 minutes of commercials, Peacock only shows about 4 minutes of ads

Renewed this morning, since I've been waiting for this offer. Then saw I cant upgrade to the yearly ad free version (to take advantage of the $20 off amex offer). Chatted with support, they actually refunded me the $20 I paid this morning (verified by paypal) and I signed up for the year for the ad free (using a new account)

Just sharing in case someone wanted the yearly with the Amex after they renewed

My membership expires on 11/26, can't apply the offer until it lapses. Getting in right under the wire with this offer expiring on 11/27…so I don't have to use a different email & create a new login.

Also feels icky giving Peacock my money so they can give $1m to the wife of the Long Island serial killer for a documentary, but I need Dateline NBC in my life.

Same. My existing $20 plan expires in April of 2024, but saw this deal and cancelled my plan right away. Plan still holds good till April but don't want the hassle of accidental recharge of $59.99 at end of current cycle.

I just did this a few minutes ago for the annual, ad-free plan, and already got $24 back on my linked card for Sam's Bonus offers, and another $4.80 for being a plus member. Still waiting for the cashback from Amex, but it'll likely show up soon. Works out to $31.19 for a year of ad-free Peacock.

I already had a free 3-month plan for having Spectrum internet, I just created a new account in order to take advantage of this deal. I got this rate last year, but it expired in late October, which is why I took up the free spectrum offer (plus paying $6 a month for ad-free) so I could wait for a bf deal. Glad I did!

I just did this. My Peacock sub was expired, so eligible for the deal. I had already saved the Peacock $5.99 and $20 offers on my AmEx card when I saw them come up recently as I wasn't sure which I would end up using. I also have Sam's Plus membership. I logged into Sam's, added my AmEx as a linked card for the Sam's Cash bonus offers and activated the Peacock deal bonus offer. Then I went to Peacock and signed in to my account, it asked me if I wanted the Premium Black Friday offer, I clicked no thanks so I could view all the plan options and pick the annual Premium Plus. I selected the annual Premium Plus option, added promo code YEARLONG, entered my AmEx for the payment. Total charge on my AmEx is $79.99. I already received emails from AmEx that I used both the $20 offer, and the $5.99 Peacock offer. I also have pending Sam's Cash of $28.80 on my Sam's account. So if it all posts to my accounts like it appears it will, my total is $79.99 - 20 - 5.99 - 28.80 = $25.20 for 1 year of Premium Plus. I'm pretty happy with that!!!

Not sure if it's been asked, but what is the difference with this $20/yr vs the free Peacock I currently use? I can watch the Office, Parks and Rec, etc with ads already, which is the main reason I use Peacock. Does the paid version have less ads than the free, or some reason I'd pay vs free?
