If you go to stone age gamer and look at their everdrive products, further down the page they have charts that will compare the products. It doesn't include all of the revisions, but it's better than nothing. Here's an example:

These are for people that prefer to play on original hardware.
Those are mostly cloned from these, but with worse compatibility and quality. Krikzz is an innovator in the flash cart space, and IMO it's worth supporting him and his staff in Ukraine, and getting a notably better product.

I often find it hard to compare Krikzz older products with the newer ones. I am hoping for save states, cheats, and maybe even fast forwarding/speed up, and the "features" list on the website seem to be lacking at times.

I own some of Krikzz older products (like the SD2SNES and Everdrive 64 x2) and just want to know if it's worth while for me to upgrade. Anyone know of a resource that can help me compare current gen vs older gen? Thanks.

Just a heads up. Amazon doesn't seem to have the deal on the N64 cart.

This is new to me. Do these carts allow you to load up roms and play directly into a console?

Yes. SNES is different. The lowest priced SNES cart does not handle games with the FX chip like Starfox but will still play 90% of the library. I have a cart for all my systems. They are great to have as the price for retro games are incredibly inflated.

How do save states work? Do they still need a battery inside of the carts? Id love for one of these for my GBC but I lost all my saved games from the batteries dying

Do these include the ROMs or do you have to locate those and somehow upload them
yourself?

Depends on the cart. Some save to flash only when you reset the console to go back to the cart menu; you lose the save if you power off first. Others have a battery, and it writes the saves to the microSD whenever the console is powered on in case you forget to reset before shutting it down. You only lose saves if the battery eventually dies, but they aren't soldered on like carts and are easily replaceable. Some carts support save states, others only support whatever the game natively allows.

They did but sold out and now it's all third party. Make sure it's sold by krikzz or you could get a knockoff.

How is amazon not honoring the N64 the only one that makes sense.

Wow this is interesting. I just found my old GBA (the original one with no backlighting) in my mom's attic.

It still works and might be fun to try this with it. But at the same time, I have a 3DS and can just play all the GBA game ROMs that way... and with backlighting. Hmmm...

I believe there's a kit to add backlighting to the old GBA.

I can get the gba one on Amazon for 100, or the one on the website for 96 after shipping, only difference I'm seeing is, Amazon ships A LOT faster, and the one on the website has a special Christmas edition.
