Samsung - Pro Plus 128GB $10.99:

Samsung - Pro Plus 128 GB with USB UHS-1 adapter $12.99

Samsung - Pro Plus 512GB $31.99

A note on card readers, the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. The Evo Plus and Pro Plus might perform the same when used on a Switch or Steam Deck..

While the UHS-I spec has a theoretical maximum of 104 MB/s, some UHS-I cards can exceed that speed through proprietary extensions. You need a compatible card reader and host device to take advantage of that extra performance, though. If you find a UHS-I card advertising speeds higher than 104 MB/s, this is what's going on. You can see these limits in action with a Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck: Both of those gaming devices support the UHS-I interface and don't go beyond its official speed, flattening any sequential gains some cards may have elsewhere. The broader takeaway: Your microSD card will only be as fast as the slowest link in your chain.

Dashcams Warning:
DO NOT BUY an Evo plus or Pro Plus for dashcam, security video cams (wyze, eufy, etc), or Raspberry Pis (at least as the main OS card). For Dashcams you need Samsung's Endurance cards which are made for high amounts of continuous writes and extreme temperatures. Non-Endurance cards will die faster and you might end in an accident with no evidence. Same applies to the other applications with high continuous writes to the SD card.

I would recommend the Pro Plus for only a few dollars more because it has significantly better write speeds. This is what I have in my steam deck. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sams...Id=6540985

I went with the Pro Plus because $7 more wasn't that bad. But if you are planning to use for a Switch or Steam Deck I doubt you will notice much difference.

Is the Pro Plus of any advantage in a recent model smartphone, for taking photos and videos at the highest settings, vs the EVO Plus or Select?

My phone is the Samsung A54, in case it matters.

I see that this is A2 not A3, would it still be fine to use on action cameras like insta 360?

For video you don't care about the A (application) rating, you care about the V (video). This is a V30 card like most other microsd.
