Thanks op!

I personally am trying to go from a loud mechanical rgb keyboard to a quiet mechanical rgb keyboard. Is that possible? Anyone got a recommendation for one that wont break the bank?

Thanks in advance.

You can swap the optical clicky purple to optical quieter red switches but razer doesn't sell the switches. I bought someone's broken donor keyboard with red switches.

Are you up for low-profile switches/keyboards?

I've had this keyboard from a BB combo going on two years from previous SD. I'll never go tenkeyless again. I really dislike not having that numpad.

I genuinely don't know what that means, but if it's similar feeling to mechanical keyboards and MUCH quieter I'm open to it!

Fine for gaming alone. I'm staying away because no numeric keypad (10 numpad) on the right side which I used for work and personal use all the time. I'll wait for Blackwidow or Huntsman with full keyboard.

If you have a Best Buy nearby, go check out the Logi MX Mechanical in the keyboard section. It will tell you how you should feel about low-profile style. Then, go to Amazon and take a look at Keychron K3, K5 or K7. If you are up for it, take a look at Corsair K70 low profile keeb.
