Bullion is always greater than spot price. $23 over spot is good.

I'm confused.... online shows the worth of 1oz of gold (at this moment in time) to be $2006.00

what's the value in paying $2029.00 for this?

For question 2, yes, you can use executive membership to get 2%, then pay with your other visa to get whatever cash back it offers.

I wouldn't buy gold now though. I tend not to buy things at (or close to) their historical high. GLD is easier to trade. Gold bars are something you hold on for decades or as reserve for emergencies, e.g. on the run as a fugitive

Wonder how many people take this back to the store to return. Definitely would be interesting to watch someone whip out a gold brick and for the worker to ask what's wrong 😅. Always wonder how they certify stuff like this and jewelry if returned.

But yeah I bet they try!

The delivery states that a signature is required. UPS just rang our doorbell and left it by the door. Good thing my wife was home at the time.

So many things have been purchased that say require signature and they've always been left at my door. I called UPS and FedEx as it has happened with both carriers.

The answer from both was "Due to COVID..." and have said that in 2021 when I bought a $2,000+ camera lens and 2023 when we bought a $4 SIM card for a phone.

COVID has become the excuse to not do so many service items that were once a consumer protection.

You will only be able to get it at $2006 (spot price) if you buy a billion dollars worth of it. The seller needs to make a profit/margin, otherwise why even sell?
