Many TSA lines have the ID-scanning machines now, eliminating the need for presenting a boarding pass. All I have to do is present my ID to the TSA agent and go. No need for the Iris or fingerprint scan, and especially those unnecessary "random" ID checks!!

If you hate waiting in line, find it super stressful, or want to get to the airport as late as you possibly can without missing flights then this is for you. Extra peace of mind for frequent travelers.
Never pay full price for Clear. This deal seems okay, but you can get it cheaper with a free United or Delta frequent flier account. And some premium credit cards give it to you for free as well via a credit. Try to get your value back based on other credit card benefits and that makes Clear a free bonus.
Does it save a lot of time? Not usually, but it helps. Typically 5-20 mins but varies by time of travel and airport. If you fly at 6am you won't save much time at all. Occasionally it saves an 45 mins when the airport is backed up, and occasionally you'll avoid missing a flight which alone is worthwhile. Ask yourself what time of day do you fly? And do you avoid peak season anyway?
For those complaining about Clear also taking time, they're in the process of phasing in tech where it recognizes you visually — no more trying to get the booths to recognize you. That should cut the time in half at most airports. I've rarely had to wait for an agent to escort me, so I'm not sure what those complaints are about. Though that could change and cancel out the new system benefits I suppose. Longest line I've had with clear is 6 people in front of me and went through fast. Most of the time there are 0-2. Home airport is Seattle, though I've flown out of many on the return leg.
Clear is not for everyone but it's definitely saved me time, and allowed me to arrive later at the airport without stressing about it.

Also signed up on the 22nd and still haven't received Uber voucher
1. Was a clear member and it was expired long ago.
2. Log into my expired member account, and see this $75 uber voucher promotion if reactivate.
3. Decide to sign up using my Amex platinum card on 11/15.
4. Amex reimbursed me on 11/16 (well done, Amex!)
5. However, it has been one week since and I received no Uber voucher.
Actually I haven't even received an enrollment confirmation email from Clear!!! The online profile does show I have active membership which will expire on 11/15/24 (remember to cancel the auto renew!)
Not pleasant experience. At worse, I lose nothing but my time, but not a great company from my enrollment experience.
I am a returning customer and when I login in my expired account, I saw the $75 voucher promotion. When I click through, I did notice it is intended for "new member only". I decided to go ahead anyway (maybe long expired member = new member?). Glad it ended well. Even if not, nothing too much loss (if you don't count your time and patience wearing) since I use my Amex platinum card.
