I live in Florida. Bought this last year around BF. Gave it to the wife on Xmas. Used it for a couple months (too late to return), and sold it on Facebook Marketplace.
Heres my take... I had one BedJet, and a King Size BedJet One-zone sheet. If you want individual control for two people, you need Two BedJets, and a two-zone sheet. I think having two bed jets running would be quite noisy, IMHO.
On high speed, the unit is quite loud. The fan adjusts in percent increments. Once it gets over 30% speed... it starts sounding loud to me.
Know that these units DO NOT COOL! They can heat the air, but they CAN NOT COOL the air. When you put it on COOL, it is just blowing room air over you. Whatever the temp & humidity is in your room, that's what the machine is blowing over you when you set it to "cool". Also, whatever heat the fan motor gives off is also added to whatever is blowing over you... So when you set to "cool", you get room air, plus fan motor heat... so probably a couple degrees warmer than room temp is what you're actually getting when it's set to "cold".
The unit does have internal heating coils, so it can actually heat the air... but here in Florida, we rarely need that. It would be nice if they made these with actual cooling, and not just room air.
My wife was looking for a solution for night sweats/hot flashes... I think the unit works well. Having air circulate around you UNDER THE COVERS makes it possible to sleep with the covers on in Florida.
However... this doesn't cool beneath you, so it wasn't working for my wife. So we sold it.
I thought it was all in her mind, until I tried it... This is a mesh type blanket that allows the breeze from our ceiling fan to pass right through... So even though it's hot Florida, I can have my covers and still be cool enough to sleep, without the noise and electricity use of the BedJet.
So we've found a solution that works for both of us.
Not a scam. It really is a game changer for comfort and sleep. I have 3 of them and they even sent me a new one when my dog chewed through the cord lol…
Bought one during BF last year, has worked great so far. The app is admittedly clunky and it lacks any sort of smart home integration (despite the company's promises), but it's genuinely helped me sleep better

Don't know if this is a great deal but I can tell you BedJet is an awesome product. We got one last year and I ended up getting everyone in the house their own. Worth full price so any sale is probably good.
Pro tip: The cloud sheets are worth it. I tried making my own, didn't go well.
Agree. They're expensive as heck and have one really annoying design flaw but they make the bedjet much better.
The design flaw is there is a "this side down" emblem on the under side of both sides of the sheet that you can definitely feel with your feet. The sheet though is very high quality.

So if I understand it correctly, this is to be used in the summer?
Thank you.
Year round. You can do heat, "cold" air (just a couple degrees cooler than what your thermostat is set to) and room temperature.

This smells like such a fake comment from the owners :-)
I've had one for ~2 years and it's generally nice. The only annoyance is that you can feel the airflow in the sheet if you're using the bedjet sheets.
I got it cause it was on Shark Tank a few years ago and walked out without any offers though the investors thought it was a cool product, just too expensive for most people.
So this thing blows room temp air or warm air through a mattress cover? Seems like this is no good for hot summers then unless your room temp is already low?

OK, thank you.
And I must purchase the cloud sheet as well, right? It doesn't come with BedJet 3 Climate Comfort Sleep System, correct?
Thank you.
You don't have to but it is nice to have and imo makes it more comfortable to use. Otherwise the air is blowing directly on your feet. The sheet is actually three sheets that are sewn together - a top and bottom and then a third of a sheet near your feet to help keep your feet from getting too cold or hot from the airflow.

It does cold/hot/room temperature. "The BedJet can be programmed for any temperature between 66 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit."

this may be a dumb question...vote down as you will...but does anyone know why you'd buy a couples set vs 2 single sets?

Yes, if your room temperature is high, it's not going to make it cool, but if the room temp is already decently cool, it will make you more comfortable
"BedJet is not a replacement for having zero air conditioning in extreme heat bedrooms over 79°F. If your bedroom air temperature is regularly over 79°F, the extreme heat will overwhelm the convective cooling method of the BedJet. We'd recommend investing in some air conditioning first."

The couples set includes the dual zone cloud sheet which is not cheap.
I'm taking the plunge and $139 for the king single zone sheet hurts a little compared to the system cost.
That's just another consideration to support his reasoning, why bother getting a "couple" unit when two singles cost less. Did you read the question wrong?

Up voting for life changing device here. Very well built, and will CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
I believe I spend about this much on some sale about a year and 1/2 ago on this very same model.
I just have the one.... Having just one will allow you to get a HOTTER heat from it. When you have 2, you must put them in "dual" mode and they reduce the output so you don't trip a breaker.

So really, this unit is just a glorified fan. My wife ended up finding a blanket on Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8
