Check for total dimensions (H+W+D) of the largest bag to make sure it works with the airlines you may be flying with.
For e.g. I just checked American Airlines website and it says 62 inches max for checked in baggage. All the 'Large' bags here are either right at 62 or more.
Putting AA baggage policy text and link here for reference:
"We calculate the size limits of your bag by adding the total outside dimensions of each bag, length + width + height.
For all regions, except to / from Australia or New Zealand, your checked bag allowance is:
Dimension: 62 in / 158 cm
Weight: 50 lbs / 23 kgs"

Major luggage manufacturers make these luggage sets in these sizes and sell them to consumers and said consumers fly domestic and internationally with no issues or they wouldn't make them in these sizes.
I have 2 sets of Samonsite luggage in similar sizes and have zero issues flying domestic and internationally.
But you people who have never been anywhere have no idea what you're talking about. Try actually traveling and reporting your feedback.
