I haven't seen much in the way of any discounts off a 2nd gen Homepod. The $20 off is 'good' for a 2nd gen.

I agree; I'm just thinking in general for a sound system - $400 would be a good amount to spend instead of 500 - 600

Special audio is the key my friend. Era 300 supports that just like this HomePod. I am also interested in the thread router capabilities.

I think the HomePod sounds very good. Is it 300 dollars worth maybe. Depends. I got one. I think if your an apple person and into music it's excellent. Apple had a deal for 300 with a 50 dollar gift card
