Unfortunately Amazon won't price match to even their own prices that were from the past, you Will have to buy it again and just return the old one. While it seems crazy for Amazon, they take the chance that people won't go through the hassle. But for $300, it's probably worth your time imo

amazon might charge you a restocking fee if you return it. i had to pay a fee last time i returned something that big. it doesn't say "free returns" anywhere on the product page, so i assume there's a fee

I want to buy an 85" TV. The X90L is in mt price range. X95L is also good but is out of my price range by over a grand. I can't justify 20% brightness. I thought of samsung S90c but the 85" uses oled LG panels stead of QD OLED. This defeats the whole purpose.
Umm there are no 85" oled panels ...

The 83" oled panels have been the same panel between c2 and c3 just a different heatsink to enable the higher nits

Unfortunately no new 83" panel for 2 years now Frown

Ah yes, I meant 83" regarding samsung S90c. It's uses LG OLED panel rather than QD OLED. Any ways...staying firm, unless the 83" C3 fall mid $2500 😇 . This will happen after I see unicorns 🦄 🤣.

Replacing my c1 with an s90c
All the reviewers say the S90C is the better display. I have a C1 and C2, wanted a 77 C3 but the B3 went on sale, bought it (hate it, returning it) and ordered an S90c for about 1950 in the end. It arrives next week.

All this said: I went to Costco and looked at the S90c and the C3 77" and thought the s90c looked better. Could have been settings, could have been content showing, but it definitely seemed more vibrant/bright, less reflective and easier to view at a wide angle (this one is a unique need of mine)

I wonder if they are holding out manufacturing newer larger panels this year, in preparation to add that new phosphorescent blue (PHOLED) to the next model. It might make the 2024 tvs, more likely it will be the 2025 models. Changing the blue OLED from fluorescence to phosphorescence can increase the luminous efficiency by 4 times.

I went to bestbuy over the weekend to check them out and I saw the s90c near the qn90c and they had similar brightness with slight edge to the qn90c but I'm impressed. I was even more impressed looking at the Sony a95L right below the a80L and wow I was drooling. So that should give me the same idea woled vs qd-oled.

I've never been impressed with my c1. I run it on 100% brightness even at night and it's always seemed kind of dull and the colors just don't pop. During the day I have decent reflection from windows even with blinds closed so I'm hoping the s90c can give me what I've been missing

This new blue OLED is the main reason I'm holding off on buying a 77 or 83 inch OLED. It seems like it'll be a significant jump that the C2 -> C3 lacked. I also think the image processing is getting a solid update in 2024 as well.

You will be more than happy with x90L. I just got the x95k which is identical to x93L, except with updated processor I believe.

Regardless, nthe blooming on my x95k 85 is truly non-existent, no leakage on the black bars at any time, i wouldn't want it any brighter (though wouldn't turn it down) and any initial complaints earlier on must have been remedied with new software or I got lucky with my 85".

Versus S90C, or C2, there's simply no comparison... I wouldn't get either OLED in lieu of x95k. S90C vs C3, S90C wins by a good margin, especially brightness is massive. Let me put it this way, I had S90C and x95k side by side for 1 week, and brightness of S90C came imperceptibly close to x95k. No comparison to my C2. I'm actually selling it or giving to family. My 42" C2 as PC monitor is stellar though

Samsung EPP/EDU discount. If you use Samsung Shop app, you might get another $25 off. I'm debating if I should get s90c after hearing so many complaints about motion handling

I just bought one on Amazon the other day, haven't gotten it out of the box yet. Saw this deal and checked on the return and it's a free return for me, they'll come pick it up even. So I ordered the cheaper one and will return one of them. Crazy they won't do a price adjustment.
