I have this. Either the keyboard or the software has a problem. They keyboard will lose connection and stop responding even when connected by wire. It's quite annoying. Not sure if they fixed it yet.

I've had mine for two years, definitely has a usb pass through in the top left corner…

You can also set the "macro" keys back to the defaults (prt screen etc.)

Sounds like you have the polling rate of the keyboard set to high, try dropping it to 500hz from 1000 and your problem with go away. Also this keyboard is only "wired." Not sure how else you would have it connected…

And finally, you don't need the steel series gg software to use this.

Bots?

My bad. I have the Apex Pro TKL Wireless (2023). Read the post too fast.

You are correct about the pass-through, but it requres two USB connections, : (
and for the, "PrnScn/ScollLock/Pause" keys, what you noted arethe keys for paging and insertion, etc, not PrnScn/ScollLock/Pause

You are also correct, but they are specifically macro keys for a reason, you can easily setup fn+M1-3 as print scrn, scroll lock, and pause break in the steel series software as a work around.

Ok, so one cannot have the paging/insert buttons and Prn/Scroll/Pause enabled all at once.

Yes you can, you can customize the entire keyboard layout and re-program every key. All you need to do is add a single key modifier to utilize it. For example, you could make M1 (INS) function as insert by default press, then add a hotkey (fn - steel series icon, in between win key and right ctrl) as a modifier. So you would then press FN+M1 to print screen. It's really easy to setup with the software. It's the same as pressing shift to use the symbols on the top number row, or if you have ever used any laptop keyboard ever, its the same way the function keys typically work with integrated secondary media keys. Just curious, why if the keys were so important, did you buy a TKL in the first place? You are clearly using this for dev work and most devs love num pads...

lots of work to make up for 3 missing keys, getting the RK87 keyboard. Thanks!
