This can function as both 2i1o or 1i2o.
Not simultaneously. It's still just a switch. I'm looking for a splitter that's anywhere near this price. I don't think it exists though. All the ones I've found are expensive.

What's your experience? Did you lose signal randomly? I bought a generic switcher that claimed 4K 120 with VRR but I did not work well with my pc. The ps5 worked great though with no signal dropouts.
I'm trying to either use a coupler or a switch to extend a cable to my samsung tv over a 15' cable.. the coupler I tried fails with sync problems coming from either hdmi or displayport converter which is a premium $40 adapter. I'm using an asrock 7900xt as the source.
Actually, based on Amazon description, for 2in1out it works as a switch, but in 1in2out it works as a "splitter" not switch. Check the link for more details.

I already checked and confirmed, it will not do two screens at once. I've also bought similar before, and all the ones of this type will not broadcast to two screens at once. They are just cheap HDMI switches.
