I work for a durable medical equipment company. This price is significantly lower than our wholesale price. If your on a cpap, I'd definitely grab one of these as a back up.

This is the older model, probably clearing out inventory.
I just got this from insurance new - they're still handing these out. The biggest change with the 11 really is just the touchscreen and wireless updates. Other than that they're pretty much identical.

This is a great deal. I had a 10 that broke after warranty and I got an 11 to replace. It's no better than the 10. Under $300 for a device that many people pay $1000 for is great. Yes you do need a prescription.

Assuming it's like most places, you can buy and email Rx later. If so, Buy it now, and then send them the Rx in a day or two after you do a telemed appointment for a CPAP RX. Google: Lofta rxexpress (only for people who currently use a CPAP). Or make the soonest Lofta appointment and hopefully the deal is still valid.

I went to Lofta and had an online appointment for $30 or $40 and they wrote me an RX that I have used to buy my new CPAP and masks elsewhere. I think the Rx says it is valid for 10year or so.
This is a great deal on the CPAP, just make sure you set it up right. I've had to adjust my settings a little bit when switching manufacturers.

I was wondering the same thing. I am in the exact same situation

This is unfortunately largely untrue. First, even with a prescription, insrance will generally only pay for one every five years (some plans may be more or less). Second, many plans also require not just a prescription from primrary care provider -- or even a neurologist -- they require you to go have a "sleep study" either in person or at home. Despite them being generally fairly worthless, this is what's being required. My suggestion for someone who think they need one and can't get their insurance to pay is to go to a friendly primary care practice, get an RX there, and then buy this one. The Airsense 10 is fantastic, and the autoset feature in it titrates the pressure to what you actually need, rather than what some indifferent so-called sleep specialist will prescribe.
Read my post #18. My insurance is United Healthcare and they pay for a new one every 6 years now, no copay. Before that, I had HeathNet and they paid in full also. They also pay for the filters, hoses, etc., but I can get them off Amazon for a fraction of the copay.

10 is bigger than the 11.

11 and the AirMini have direct DC input as well as AC, making them more efficient to run off battery.

This is my trusty at night. From going from no cpap to this device, took about 2 weeks but my energy levels shot through the roof. But being able to breathe at night will do that for you.
I have mild sleep apnea, I cannot sleep on my back due to it. Will a CPAP machine allow me to sleep on my back? And were there any other benefits to your life other than having more energy during the day?

Sleep tech here that has worked in the durable medical equipment space for a while. This is pretty much at cost what they're charging for this. Card to cloud means no built in modem
To transmit your usage data. Data is saved to the machine and can be transferred by plugging in a SD card. This also doesn't come with a heated hose so be careful not to adjust humidity levels to high as rainout is possible. Also depending on which mask style, be prepared to spend another $100-$300 on that, unless they're on sale too.

Prescriptions are valid for one year since you were seen last.

Feel free to ask any questions, I'd be happy to assist.
