Guitars Garden, the distributor of Firefly Guitars, Black Friday sale is underway. Each guitar is individually priced. For most guitars, that is about a 16-17% savings.
Firefly is a well-known discount brand of guitar. Made in China, they often contain stainless steel frets, locking tuners, and bone nuts -- components that are usually found on higher-end guitars.
There are many videos online about these inexpensive guitars. A highly complimentary video from 22 Nov 2023, "This Guitar WAS IMPOSSIBLE 10 Years Ago...":

Firefly's are attractive for the price. But understand that they are not Squiers and you are gambling that yours will never have a real problem.
Personally, I would avoid the lowest end of the Squier line. During the pandemic, I bought three Squiers (two Mustang Bullets and a mini Strat) and returned them all: one had a dead output jack, another arrived with a 1 inch chip to its finish, and another had a twisted neck. I bought one Firefly 338 -- spalted maple with a green burst. The guitar arrived perfect. I expected the pickups on the Firefly to sound terrible, but they were fine--not awesome, but good enough to be impressive for the price. It was light, but was thicker and larger than I preferred. I kept it for a year, and traded it at Guitar Center during the pandemic for more than I paid for it. At the time, Firefly Guitars would sell out online. Nowadays, I would not be able to get such a good trade price.
I have played with various Squier Classic Vibes series at Guitar Center and have been impressed. Like the Firefly (or a Harley Benton), it's pretty common for these inexpensive guitars to need a bit of attention and adjustment to get them playing really good.
Speaking of Harley Benton -- cyberweek sales are now ongoing at their online store: thomannmusic.com [thomannmusic.com]
Firefly has added two more guitar styles since the original posting: an explorer-style and a flying v., both $189.91 down from $239.91 ---> https://guitarsgarden.c

My opinion would be to go to a local guitar store and try some different ones out. You could also go to sweetwater.com and search for guitars by weight. (Example search for solidbodies by weight [sweetwater.com]) One crummy thing though about sweetwater's search is that they often don't take the time to weigh their least expensive guitars. On the other hand, their limited info is better than nothing
My brother took his daughter to Guitar Center and she picked out a smaller scale Mitchell Guitar. They also bought a small guitar amp package and some extra strings.
Examples (at time this posts):
$120 Bullet Telecasters
$270 Classic Vibe Telecaster
