I have a Panasonic inverter microwave for a few years now and it's been great. It cooks a lot faster than standard microwaves and defrosts quickly. It's got sensor cooking as well which I think measures steam based on food type and weight. They are also surprising light for their size as well.
I picked this up for my parents house to replace an older microwave.

The saddest part is the Panasonic inverter it replaced lasted well over 20 years of heavy use.
They truly do Not build them like they used to.
