I only read "Plush" in Walmart's post, not mentioned "Firm" anywhere.

Can anyone explain? Thank.

The best bed that will last you longer than any other is three 3" latex toppers stacked up. Get extra firm for the bottom two and medium for the top.
Great support and will sleep cooler than anything. These are the most expensive parts of premade beds, make it your entire bed for less.
I have a 8" thick 100% latex queen mattress I bought in 1978, it's still good.
However, I've found a hybrid is more comfortable for me, today.

Thanks OP. In for the 10" firm queen mattress.
I went with the twin firm, don't know much except my current mattress is several decades old. Like someone said, easier to top it off for less firmness than increase it.

I already returned the cheap Zinius green tea deal for this BB one

Im on a "firm" cheap foam matress thats only a couple of years old but already feels worn and uneven...even flipped the matress which gave more firmness but still is uneven...Im hoping a hybrid will last longer without feeling uneven

This looks like a great deal. I have a question for a bedding novice.

I have old mattresses with box springs. Can these mattresses go on top of a box spring or does it need a foundation/base?
For warranty purposes,if the box is 5 yrs or older it'll void the warranty,I emailed them to ask because I'm planning to use my old one.Other than that it's fine, they don't recommend it,but I'm gonna use it anyway

Anyone know where I can get a cheap platform base for a king? I really don't care what it looks like, it's for the hunting shack...

Seeing a comment saying firm doesn't feel firm enough. For those w back pain issues, this might be a deal breaker. I will pass for a better mattress.

For every single mattress ever made, you will find some reviews that complain it is too firm and some that complain it is too soft. I've realized that it is virtually impossible to gauge mattress comfort through other people's subjective experiences. This is true from the crappy $100 low-end memory foam to $5k latex.

The only things you can even hope to meaningfully check for are long-term durability, quality of materials/construction, etc.

Does anyone have any experience with mattress (in a box) returns to Walmart? E.g. how easy is it, do they put up a fight or resistance, etc.
I was going to return a Zinus hybrid a couple of weeks ago and chatted with them. It seemed pretty straightforward. They didn't hassle me and didn't even ask to see pics of the hump in it. I ended up keeping it because I don't really notice it and gamble on getting one even worse.

Seems like it is not returnable once opened, so unless you don't care about losing $200ish dollars, beware. Also, you'd somehow have to get an almost 100lb mattress back to Walmart, as I don't think there is anyway to get it to shrink back in the box.
