Cat 8 should have higher twists and better copper. Lower resistance should be something that if you use for PoE it will save you energy and money in powering devices. I cannot speak to the quality of this brand or product.
While that may be true in theory, there is no real life benefit for 99% of applications where this will matter.

Cat6 cables are still a much better option for most applications.

Not much use for Cat8 (40Gbps). You need a 40Gb network adapter and 40Gb network switch/router for Cat8 speed between devices 😂 . Most people only have 1Gb equipment. There is no benefit.

UGREEN is one of the only companies I'd trust to actually make these.

Most home networks would be fine with Cat 5e which works up to 2.5gbps. You will not get better speeds with this. 99% of people won't have a use for Cat 8 right now.

Does anyone have experience with these? Will any beyond the 3' range reach their advertised speeds?
Zero chance that flat cable would be capable of doing 40Gb/s. I'd be shocked if any of them could honestly. However since there is not really any equipment with 40Gb/s 8P8C ports it's not a big deal. I'm sure they will all do 1gb and probably 10gb/s over shorter distances (iffy for the 20' flat cable though).

If you want 40gb go fiber not copper.
Especially at any decent length.

My new desktop uses a 10gb RJ45 Ethernet connection and I have it working fine with a SFP+ RJ45 module and a "Cat7" cable. but all my server and stuff use Fiber and it was actually cheaper to get fiber stuff than copper.

I can see in the near future with people getting faster than 1gb ISP speeds and multi gig wireless access points that you will start to have a use for RJ45 multigig connections, but all of those are still 10gb or under and your going to want to do a custom run, not buy a premade cable.
