Does it support Automatic Switching?

No, it cannot be automatically switched to the latest activated HDMI port, but only can be switched by buttons or remote control.

Has anyone used this? Any issues with any codecs (Dolby vision, atmos)?

What do I need to connect two different computers to a double 27" monitor setup. I don't necessarily need to be able to use both at the same time.

I posted the 5 in 1 over a month ago and it worked well with remote up until recently. YMMV with all the configurations but I was getting all kinds of evil HDCP 2.2 errors over my Vizio Arc SB and Sony OLED. Don't know what changed but both Roku and Fire cube had problems. Could have been the Youtube TV app but I just went back to the 2 in 1 JSaux and no problem.

I have one of their 5 in 1 out models. This is the second one that has failed. The first one was DOA and the second one worked fine for a little bit, but now the image just flashes on the screen. Swapped back to my old HDMI hub and everything is working fine.

You need to really run 2 HDMI/DP cords from each computer, so 4 cords.
One from computer 1 to monitor 1 and one from computer 1 to monitor 2. Then the same with computer 2. You would switch inputs on the monitors to see the different PCs.
If you use a splitter you're only going to have duplicate displays on both monitors.
I plug 2 PC's and a Nintendo into one monitor and switch the inputs. Then the 2 PCs also share the second monitor which I also have to switch inputs.
You also need a keyboard/mouse switch. This is what I use

Have the splitter. Last about a year and then die. On a 3rd one in 3 years.
