How do these compare to Polk R200 bookshelf speakers? It seems like they're both well liked by reviewers.

Can they both work as desktop computer speakers (near field) or are these strictly for home theater situations?

Thanks. Was lucky to order a grey color open box - good condition from bestbuy available within 30 min drive at $634. Hope it's in good condition.

Excellent work! I bought mine earlier this week from ABT, but they haven't shipped yet. I'd buy these again and cancel if pickup tomorrow was an option. No clue when I'll get mine.

I have an old Andrew Jones pioneer 5 speaker setup I'm looking to retire. Have been thinking of just going to 3.1 for a HT setup and been eyeing Kef. Any thoughts on migrating to the Q550s or Q750s? I have an SVS PB-NSD1000 currently as my sub and a Onkyo AVR. My living room is completely open space. Mostly Netflix/ps5/movies/gaming/Spotify music. Thanks for any help.

Might be worth trying at this price. Crutchfield has a flat $10 return fee I believe.

I have my Andrew Jones towers sitting next to my ls50s right now because I was auditioning them for a friend. I would say you are in for a treat.

Depending on the Onkyo you may consider amplification and then sub upgrades down the line.

The LS50 meta is much better. The R200 is still a good speaker.

Great for desktop near-field listening, as I replace the 4 yr old Q150 with the original LS50 last month. One can get the used LS50 cheap (I'm sure some will sell it to upgrade to Meta version) as I only paid USD 582 shipped from Canadian seller.
