These Saturn looking ones seem to always be pushed on SD by staff with extremely high high msrp. Maybe buy something else

bought this earlier prior to it showing up on slickdeal. from youtube reviews, this seem to sound better than the JBL Extreme 3 which is on sale now for $230

I have been using previous erosions of Onyx. The sound quality is excellent. Deep Bass and very Loud. Downside is the battery life will deteriorate after first year. It's now being used plugged in for past three years. Still solid sound.

You can pair these together for stereo sound. Has anyone tried that? How far can you separate the two without distortion? Do you have to pair them again everytime you turn off/on?

Does anyone know how the Studio 7 compares to previous versions in terms of deep bass? I have yet to find a portable speaker that gives the rich deep bass the Onyx Studio delivers, I have versions 4 and 5. It's not boomy bass, it's just crisp and clean.

i added the aura to cart, says $30 product discount, but it added to the $129 price...total $159.99. how stupid can they be?

The Aura 3 has been great. Plenty of bass for the average Joe and sounds amazing at lower volumes. It can pump out sound if you need to.

The only downside is that you can't adjust any settings. It's either up or down. Still absolutely worth it.

Our version 1 stopped working last month. We used it in the great room and kitchen. 7 years ago we went to BestBuy and picked out the best sounding Bluetooth speaker they had. 7 years of good sound. Ordered the $99 one yesterday for my wife. It is impressive for in the house use. Great base and very clear highs on the 7 year old so the newer one should be a blast.
